It is easy for us to get out of our depth pretty quickly, Dr. Alexander (me too). It is okay to be general and wide ranging, but these forays should be accompanied by a sober and genuine sense of enquiry, a tentativeness in stance, and a humility that recognizes that intelligence is merely a set-up to get things wrong --- very wrong, and to take a lot of people down a disastrously wrong path.
