These front 12 are leading the way and the Canadian Truck convoy hey are racing to end mandates, passports, and declaring the virus as now ‘endemic’…this is the pivot. We have been saying this since March 2021 when the deaths globally fell near flat. We were even arguing the infections etc. were falling before the first shot was rolled out.

I do not think the UK has given up. They are on the defensive at the moment. I think they will come back by Spring with another variant of doom or use jabbed OAS infections and deaths as a reason for lockdowns. Look at Scotland today, banning unjabbed couples from having fertility treatment - that is not TPTB giving up.
I think the UK/US pre-Christmas plan was a hard lockdown which would have gone on till March. Remember, Boris was going to make an announcement about omicron and then Biden was going make a speech on it a few days later. I think the plan was for the UK to be locked down and then Biden pointing to the UK as the excuse for the US to lock down.
But the Brits got angry at mention of Christmas being wrecked and the Downing Street garden party story was leaked. Boris went on the defensive for his job. Boris backed down, much to the anger of the Welsh and Scotland tinpot dictators. What happened with Biden - a few days after Boris announced no Christmas lockdown Biden made a speech where he announced basically nothing. They built up a big Biden omicron announcement and then he said b*gger all.
No, they are not surrendering. They are rethinking and regrouping. i suspect OAS / ADE infections and deaths will be used to justify further Orwellian measures.
