I'm a big Alina fan, note that she is smart, you can tell because of how she conducts business and comports herself. She attended a relatively obscure law school that is currently ranked dead last among all law schools in the US. Compare her to fat Alvin who attended Harvard or Fanny who attended Emory - both prestigious law schools.
What does this tell you? Pedigree means almost nothing, performance and action mean everything. Unfortunately, the credentialed class is a club that uses pedigree interchangeably with performance and credibility. It's upside down, those prestigious schools got their standing because the success of their alumni, rather than propagate that success through performance, they are doing so through fiat and standing - this may last for a while, but should fall on its face eventually.
