left ankle and right arm and right ankle; do this test after RESTING; measuring systolic over diastolic; ideal ABI is between 1.0 and 1.4 meaning health arteries and BP; you take the left ankle

systolic and put over the left arm systolic and same for right ankle and arm systolics…so highest sytolics from ankles and arms and divide them to calculate the index…the lower the ABI then means you are likely having blood flow obstruction…due to plaque etc.
