left ankle and right arm and right ankle; do this test after RESTING; measuring systolic over diastolic; ideal ABI is between 1.0 and 1.4 meaning health arteries and BP; you take the left ankle
You can also get this done at Lifeline Screening for approx $150. Beware of Medicare Advantage health-fair screenings. They have a test for PAD which (for me at least) is wildly inaccurate. They put in my chart that I had PAD when I don’t, and they didn’t even tell me. This is a disqualifying condition for Medigap coverage and I didn’t find out it was in my chart until I tried to switch out of MA to Medigap. 😡
Never heard of doing this simple test. Of course the medical community doesn't want anyone working on their own health because they depend on over-testing and over-drugging us. Thanks for the video.
I am considering Cavadex which is cyclodextrin that may be an excellent arterial cleaner. I am still researching this but cyclodextrin has been is use for a long time.
Don't expect the cardio guy to know about it...it is not patentable and therefore he can not make a profit on it. In no way should you be taking statins, blood thinners or blood pressure pills. All are toxic and do other things to the body that the doctors refuse to acknowledge.
This test saved my life in 2011. Thanks for raising awareness about this Dr. Alexander!
I had Peripheral artery disease and didn’t know it, and although it’s a simple test, my PCP never checked me even though I had calf claudication. After receiving a positive ABI from LifeLine Screening, I saw a vascular specialist and began an aggressive walking program which rebuilt my collateral blood source. I just scheduled my annual Life Line Screening for July 17!!
What a great idea! Ultrasonographers used to do this test all the time in imaging and then I heard very little about it. It's so simple and cost effective, perfect for screening.

Good to know.
Great stuff, agreed.
Thank you Dr. Paul Alexander.
I found interesting and could be informative...
