And learn how to use any weapon you buy. Get very comfortable with it. Get a concealed carry permit and get comfortable carrying your new “buddy.” You would be amazed how friendly and helpful most folks are at a gun shop. Almost all shops offer classes. Some even offer free Ladies’ Night classes. Keep your new “buddy”with you in all legal places ( learn the law in your jurisdiction). Oh, and look into some AP ammo (armor piercing).
