The only reason I came to substack in the 1st place was that all I had learned about infectious disease and the immune system as a nurse in my 25 years of experience & education was suddenly “not the science” we were supposed to adhere to. For what it’s worth in my line of work we taught the very same basic early treatment protocols to our patients long before Covid. You know the ones that the “experts” who are now suspect for the unimaginable outcome that we have all witnessed.

A long story short, how and why have people fallen for this whole sham and turned into covidians is that history is being erased and perverted. They are unable to think creatively and connect the dots. To call those here who write in support of medical as well as freedom across the board, Nazis, is beyond the pale. The very same atrocities we saw in Nazi Germany have reappeared taking on a newer form persecution under a different name. Hidden under the guise of emergency use and so called medical necessity to keep society safe from a a contagion that was not severe enough to be labeled as a deadly virus. But here we are. It’s all a giant mind game and if you don’t play along you are now a Nazi. What is wrong with people that we are looking at depopulation at the hands of the medical profession and the masses are eating the poison right out of their hands? Even as their friends & loved ones die suddenly? They still can’t see it. Nothing will wake them I’m afraid.

Thanks again, Paul, for bringing my newsletter to the attention of far more readers. Hands down, you win the prize for the most generous Substack author. You are constantly trying to help other Substack authors you think have something important to contribute to important debates.

I can use your Reader Comment section to provide an UPDATE on my "new" paid subscriber numbers and present one issue/question that perhaps raises a red flag, suggesting that contrarian Substack authors MIGHT already be under attack.

As noted in my article, I added approximately 50 new paid subscribers in one week after my article on the "Nazi Substack" resonated with so many readers and other Substack authors.

However, from Stripe metrics, I learned that payments of what I thought were nine (9) new paid subscribers were NOT processed and never went into my checking account. All nine of these "failed" payments happened between Jan. 6-8.

Three of the failed payments were from users in Europe. Several payments were declined by the banks of the credit card users because the zip code of the users reportedly didn't match the credit/debit card info on file.

For all I know, these might be legitimate reasons to not process payments. But nine out of about 37 new subscriptions in three days being cancelled/not processed seems high to me. (The story would be these are bogus payments/subscribers for some reason).

I make this post only because I'm curious if other Substack authors might have noticed similar events. I also wonder if some Substack readers have had difficulty making payments or renewals to their favorite Substack authors.

As I wrote, maybe I'm just being paranoid, but the only way to get more compelling evidence is to ask readers and other Substack authors if this is happening to them as well.

I have added more than 400 new free subscribers in about a week, which is very encouraging, especially since that metric had been growing by only about 20/month for the last three or so months.

Thanks for any relevant feedback anyone might have on the possibility something "fishy" might be happening on Substack and its payment company. Again, thanks very much for supporting my Substack - Bill Rice, Jr.
