this EO by 47 I fully agree with for NIAH, NIAID and the funding is insanely corrupted, none of the research today by NIH is properly done. its a kickback scheme

So the judge is for funding the killing of people with the “shots” for the next pandemic…. More gain of function research to make diseases that were harmless to humans now jump species and be fatal to humans… thanks!

Why wouldn't she be for funding the killing of people with the "shots" for the next pandemic? The job selects for psychopaths. And it doesn't matter whether she's a Democrat or a RINO. They are all the same. Card carrying Republican and RNC delegate the late Ted Bundy reportedly had a brilliant legal mind and if he had finished his Law School studies not been exposed as a secret serial killer he would probably be sitting on the bench today, or in a Governor's Mansion or the White House.

Duh, Susieboy, just Duh! I've said many times that Trump is superior to his predecessors, factional opponents and opposition party opponents, although that's not saying much.

I wasn't talking about Trump in my comment above. I was talking about the judge who blocked the Trump admin action, and generalizing from her to other judges, lawyers, and politicians, but not Trump.

I do not accept your insinuations that Trump is a RINO, or that RINOS are not the same as Dems.

The most charitable interpretation of your comment is that you have a reading comprehension deficit, secondary to low IQ.

"They" in reference to "Democrat or a RINO" was about judges.

Another possible interpretation of your hysterical overreaction and miscomprehension is that you are disputing that RINOS and Democrats are all the same. Another is that you are defending Ted Bundy?

Which is it? You have not made yourself clear.

Bundy did get fan mail from "women," like you Susieboy, but I will not defend Ted Bundy simply because he was a Republican.

Susiejoy Barry's avatar

Seriously how on earth could you interpret my comment as defending Ted Bundy! Anathema!!! I also think my comment made it quite clear that Trump is a Republican through and through that wants to MAGA! He wears his heart on his sleeve and he took one for the country!!! BTW you referred to previous comments you have made which I have not seen, so I can only take your above comment on board!

Well yes Margaret, some of these fanatics are "all or none" thinkers. Their world is polarized into diametrically opposed to camps. It derives from "the fallacy of the excluded middle." They think like Hitler' who once said "You are either for me or against me," ignoring that someone may approve of alering speed limits on the autobahn but not of sending people to death camps. One word of criticism of their idol, e.g., for continuing to push mRNA injections, sends them into rage, even if you also wanting to secure borders etc.praise him

I hope people who like Trump do understand that it’s not necessarily the man, but the ideas that he is espousing, MAGA! I hope that that spreads to the parts of America that just don’t get it yet. The fact that America is not just a geographical area, it’s the first of its kind, a CONSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC. Our forefathers, who were British citizens, revolted against their own government run by a tyrant. It controlled the most powerful military in the world at the time. It shouldn’t have been successful, but because it was an idea of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE & for the PEOPLE, through fervent and constant prayer, our ally France and around 3% of our population at the time, it did succeed. Through unknown perils & hardships, it succeeded. But today, we need millions of people who, like Trump, love this country for what it CAN be, a place where we can worship, speak, defend ourselves, own private property, pursue happiness & enjoy the fruits of our labor, as we please. Currently, we have a (shadow) 4th branch of government that isn’t supposed to be there - but it is, (the media would be the 5th) the bureaucracy. They are there all the time no matter which wing of the “uni-party” is in power. They run the spending arm, the regulatory arm, the taxation arm and the various departmental arms of the federal government, FDA, CDC, USAID, CIA, FBI, Federal Courts, etc. That is the part that’s freaking out right now (and they don’t normally freak out). I for one am sitting back listening to everything I can on DOGE and its daily discoveries & disclosures. With the sterilization of sunlight, I hope the entire murderous plan of those Malthusians who instituted this cursed massacre of the innocent (with their countermeasures to a bio weapon), will be exposed. I frankly do not care what political affiliation they assert, if they are part of the crimes against humanity, they must be held accountable and that means by the Nuremberg trials standards & punishments. Remember Dr Mengele? Fauci may be found out and proven even worse, only time will tell and if the entire truth comes out.

He's not what you think he is. He had extreme TDS and like others, called Trump "Hitler." Palantir's Peter Thiel and former CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, got ahold of Vance and told him to get rid of the TDS. (Trump Derangement Syndrome) Both Schmidt and Thiel are on the board of Bilderberg and have taken Vance to meetings. Then they introduced JD to Trump in Mar-a-Lago. Vance's wife sits on the board of one of Bill Gates' outfits, and both of them worked for the same law firm the Obama's once worked for, Sidley Austin, a firm that doesn't have a great reputation. There's more, but that should suffice enough to make one wonder about JD Vance.

Thank you John and Margaret. I have said that I believe Vance is even more dangerous than Pence was.

Vance’s wife was on the board of directors at Gates Cambridge, a Bill Gates enterprise. JD has said that, “The sad fact is that I couldn’t do it without Usha. Even at my best, I’m a delayed explosion - I can be defused, but only with skill and precision. It’s not just that I’ve learned to control myself but that Usha has learned how to manage me.”

Another Yale graduate, Vivek, whose education was funded by George Soros, is Usha’s first cousin.

Note that in the recent past, Vance called for a global carbon tax program, a tax on your personal carbon footprint. This is the system for the carbon trading platform (likely tied to digital IDs). It is evidence of yet another convenient position change (TDS to MAGA) on the green agenda. In 2020, he spoke at OSU about society’s “climate problem:” and said that using natural gas as a power source “isn’t exactly the sort of thing that’s gonna take us to a clean energy future.”

The DC swamp is 100% corrupted and a machine of jack boots and fraud. There is nothing good or decent left to save, including the new regime which if not totally corrupted now, will be in the future. The DC Swamp has been growing corruption like a weed for decades. The roots go all the way to China.

The issue here I believe is the allowable overhead...indirect cost....facility and administration rates on these awards. Each school negotiates their overhead rate with the NIH and goes through an audit to arrive at the rate. What NIH is saying is that the allowable OH is now 15% across the board. There is a lot of research legitimate research that goes on at universities...that doesn't have to do with fauci or gof. It's a big cut as some schools have 50-70 oh rates. I don't disagree entirely as most private funders have a limit in OH rates....just wanted to clarify what the issue is as a lot of the comments seem to be about fauci or cutting off research funding.

More on Judge Kelley and her ruling. Source -- ultra-liberal Wikipedia:

"On May 12, 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Kelley to serve as a U.S. district judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts." (Arguably the most liberal state in the nation.)

"She is the second African-American female judge and the second Asian-American judge to serve on the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts." (Given the Biden Administration's expressed policies and criteria for appointments, it can be assumed this is yet another DEI appointment.)

"On February 7, 2025, the NIH, under the leadership of the Trump administration, introduced a rule requiring that all NIH research grants to institutions of higher education follow a standard 15% rate for indirect costs–meaning universities could only use up to 15% of the grants for these costs, which typically covers expenses such as maintaining research facilities and paying research staff. A coalition of 22 states sued the NIH, and Kelley granted a temporary restraining order, effectively blocking the rule from taking effect on February 10."

This doesn't sound as if Trump tried to shut down research. Only that he is putting the breaks on outrageous abuse of spending. After all, these researchers are university employees, not USG employees, and they are using university facilities.

It appears the opposition and fake news are deliberately misleading the public.
