Chikina et al.: "Re-analysis on the statistical sampling biases of a mask promotion trial in Bangladesh: a statistical replication"; now saying with even the modest 'claimed' benefit, DO NOT trust
Bottom line is that the re-analysis shows research methods that may likely have contributed to the finding and it was not even great, ranging from no (zero) benefit to a very small modest one
Background: this was based on a cluster randomized Bangladeshi study on the effectiveness of the COVID face masks, the researchers then reporting results ranging from no benefit to a small modest benefit. Now a re-analysis is suggesting the methods were problematic.

I didn't know this aspect of the trials idiocy, but I dismissed it on another basis: Since these villages and cities in which the ridiculous study was done (solely for the purpose of finding a "benefit" of masking) have extremely poor sanitation, the wells that supply their water should have all been tested for china-virus, and the locations with contaminated wells should have been excluded.
Every single proper study of masks as means of preventing spread of respiratory viruses (hundreds of them) has found zero benefit, and the few studies done to detect potential harm to the habitual wearer have all found ample sources of harm. The one study I read that identified the virus-aerosolizing effect suggested the masks actually help SPREAD the disease by aerosolizing viral droplets that otherwise would fall harmlessly to the ground.
We shall reserve at least ten percent of the two hundred and fifty thousand candidacies for Nuremberg Trials II for the Mask-Mandaters. They need to be fully punished for their crimes. None will be pardoned on the basis of stupidity and/or ignorance, since every one of them appointed him/her/itself as an authoritarian monster depriving normal citizens of their liberty and forcing them to harm themselves.
Never Forget! Never Forgive!
Execute all who are found guilty.
Wow, if this stands as plausible medical research, then it is no wonder that Big Pharma can get away with their 💩☠️
