"Can America survive the damage?" Let me not mince words: NO NATION ON EARTH, no matter how rich or powerful, can survive decade after decade of such attacks. Given enough time, even the mightiest nation or empire will fall. That said, the solution is rather simple - can you guess it?
Well, let me qualify that - it's simple in theory, but not so simple to implement.
If **soon** we do not implement that solution here in the USA, we will fall -- as certain as dawn follows the night, our country will fall! And it will be WE who will have allowed that to happen.
Listen to these words of mine, directed at mature adults: EVIL is an opportunist and a coward. EVIL will take whatever it wants that offers little or no resistance, threat, or negative consequences. Think about what's happening here and abroad and you'll see that principle in action. 'Nuff said.
