agents like this would not act without cause...so we need to know what the senator did. this is the first of its kind.

Taken down and ousted for asking a question? HUH? Clearly, more details to this are needed.

He didn’t identify himself until he was on the ground.

Wasn’t wearing a suit- no name tag, just rushed into the room interrupting Noem’s opening statement.

Clearly, he wanted a photo op for political purposes.

he did identify himself early, you did not watch the video

The video of the event clearly catches him identifying himself BEFORE he was taken down.

That's not the issue. The issue is WHY take him down at all? For wanting to ask a question?

I say again, *something* is missing here. We should soon find out.

He interrupted the press conference, they didn't know who he was, he was rude, they took him out of the room. Perfectly right response.

I am not so sure.

They could have asked him to wait until the current speaker was finished.

Something is not being told as in revealed about the ENTIRE situation!

Could they have been altered as to his possible appearance and had been prepared for such an eventuality?

Just a conjecture.

That's what I'm saying - we have an incomplete picture here. Our biggest problem is that we have a lawless, untrustworthy government. We really cannot trust **anything** these days. More information needed.

There *HAS* to be some background that this video clip does not provide.

No one (should) get tossed out and taken down for wanting to ask a question - NO ONE!! But then again, the USA is today a lawless country with no universally-applied Rule of Law. Thus, expect to see things that happen in places like North Korea. Stay tuned ...

Jorge - did you watch the entire vid? That Senator was intentionally out of place, for a publicity stunt.

Expand full comment
Jorge Fernandez's avatar

I watched it. Yes, it's *possible* that it was all a publicity stunt - I certainly wouldn't put it past these filthy politicians, specially in California. I just don't know for sure.

The international press are loving this. His first words were reportedly:

“I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary ..."

Then as soon as he identified himself he was taken down.

Yes, he was not supposed to be there.

He could have called in advance.

Instead he tried to make a scene, to try to scold the DHS Secretary.

He wouldn't stop.

It was the right decision to ask him to leave.

He refused repeatedly and just like someone trying to disrupt Congress, force became necessary.

He should be reprimanded by the Senate if it ever happens again.

Apparently he simply burst in, started toward the podium, and began shouting. He had been asked to leave and refused so he was taken down and handcuffed. He deserved what he got.

He interrupted a press conference with his approach and loud voice. He could’ve simply waited in the back until it was time for questions and then proceeded politely. Instead he acted like he was a king.

I’m glad he was taken down and handcuffed. So sick and tired of these type of antics by the Left. All they know how to do is lie and obfuscate.

Ppl like that do not belong in Congress.

🎥👇Holy shit.

California Democrat Senator, Alex Padilla, attempts to crash DHS Secretary Noem’s press conference, has to be forcibly removed by law enforcement, and is reportedly under arrest.

Why is it Democrat politicians feel they are above the law?

Bcuz they’ve been above the law for too long. Besides Padilla we have another Dem who assaulted ICE officers and has been indicted and faces serious time in prison.

Yes, it happened. Zak on RedPillNews showed the entire video on his show awhile ago. The Senator rudely interrupted Noem's press conference unannounced. They took him outside, put him down, and handcuffed him. Then released him. Later he and Noem had a 15 minute discussion. He is lying about the incident.

Thanks for this helpful link.

It appears from the videos that Padilla burst into a closed press conference in a threatening manner, shouting angrily. This was a security matter and agents acted appropriately to protect Noem and the attendees.

Paul, Alex is a criminal stooge working for the death cult.

He deserves the fate of those who have died from his policies.

Realizing what he, gruesome, and the death cult have in store for this country, he deserves far more severe punishment than being removed from a press conference.

They admit he did push his way toward the front of the room,

"While Padilla did push his way toward the front of the room, he clearly identifies himself."

So the Hill seems to be hedging the bet here, and not taking sides. (IMHO, but others may see it differently)
