Had elective surgery in the height of Covid and I asked if I tested positive, as they were putting my iv line in, would that prevent my surgery? Oh no, not a problem. They had put iodine swabs up my nose that kills Covid and most all viruses! That is what they hey told me! They knew all along, but wear your mask, cough, cough.
I think that simply mixing hydrogen peroxide in water and using that mixture to flush your nasal sinuses is better than using a povidone-iodine spray becuase the povidone-iodine sprays have several other ingredients, that seem questionable to me.
