ISSUE: FDA is concerned about the health of consumers who may self-medicate by taking ivermectin products intended for animals, thinking they can be a substitute for ivermectin intended for humans.
BACKGROUND: The FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine has recently become aware of increased public visibility of the antiparasitic drug ivermectin after the announcement of a research article that described the effect of ivermectin on SARS-CoV-2 in a laboratory setting. The Antiviral Research pre-publication paper, "The FDA-approved drug ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro" documents how SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) responded to ivermectin when exposed in a petri dish.
Ivermectin is FDA-approved for use in animals for prevention of heartworm disease in some small animal species, and for treatment of certain internal and external parasites in various animal species.
RECOMMENDATION:
People should never take animal drugs, as the FDA has only evaluated their safety and effectiveness in the particular animal species for which they are labeled. These animal drugs can cause serious harm in people.
People should not take any form of ivermectin unless it has been prescribed by a licensed health care provider and is obtained through a legitimate source.
Ivermectin is an important part of a parasite control program for certain species and should only be given to animals for approved uses or as prescribed by a veterinarian in compliance with the requirements for extra-label drug use.
If you are having difficulty locating a particular ivermectin product for your animal(s), FDA recommends that you consult with your veterinarian.

For centuries, river blindness — also known as onchocerciasis — plagued remote communities in Africa, Latin America and Yemen, and there was no answer to this affliction.
This all began to change in the mid-to-late 1970s when Dr. William Campbell of Merck Research Laboratories suggested the use of ivermectin (later named Mectizan) for river blindness in humans. Following the breakthrough lab work by Dr. Campbell, another Merck researcher, Dr. Mohammed Aziz, championed the clinical development of Mectizan. Dr. Aziz led the collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) in the early 1980s to design and implement field studies in West Africa that, ultimately, proved the effectiveness of the drug against river blindness.
In 1987, Merck committed to donate Mectizan – as much as needed, for as long as needed – with the goal to help eliminate river blindness.
A ground-breaking public-private partnership
In order to reach this goal, Merck leaders recognized that many organizations with unique skills would need to work together as a team. To enable this collaboration, Merck established the Mectizan Donation Program (MDP), a ground-breaking public-private partnership. Operating from the Atlanta-based *Task Force for Global Health, the MDP coordinates technical and operational activities between Merck, WHO, endemic countries, and a range of public and private stakeholders.

Building on the successful implementation of the river blindness program, in 1998 Merck expanded its commitment to include donating Mectizan for another neglected tropical disease, lymphatic filariasis, also known as elephantiasis, in African countries and Yemen where it co-exists with river blindness. For lymphatic filariasis, Mectizan is administered with albendazole, a drug donated by GSK.
In November 2017, in support of new WHO guidelines, Merck announced an expansion of the program to reach up to an additional 100 million people per year through 2025 as part of the global effort to eliminate lymphatic filariasis.
More than thirty years later, the results of the MDP speak for themselves. Several countries in Africa are making significant progress towards eliminating both diseases. In Latin America, four countries – Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Guatemala – have received WHO verification of river blindness elimination. Lymphatic filariasis has now been eliminated in Togo, Yemen and Malawi. Both river blindness and lymphatic filariasis are on WHO’s list of neglected tropical diseases targeted for elimination globally.

Today, the MDP is the longest-running, disease-specific drug donation program of its kind and has been influential in the development of a number of other drug donation programs.

But it’s a glaring irony that, with the president’s life on the line, none of the miracle cures flogged by Trump, his administration, and his supporters have been administered to the patient in chief. No hydroxychloroquine, the old malaria drug and purported “game changer” that proved to do more harm than good. No convalescent plasma, which was rolled out last month with wild overstatements about its effectiveness. No oleandrin, a substance extracted from a toxic shrub and touted as a miracle by the CEO of MyPillow, a Trump donor.
Instead, following the White House’s stunning failure to deploy the simplest protections, starting with mask wearing, Trump is being dosed with experimental treatments that amount to medical science’s best guesses so far of what treatments might be effective: a costly polyclonal antibody cocktail made by Regeneron, which one doctor described to Vanity Fair as a “wild card”; remdesivir, an antiviral drug developed by Gilead Sciences, which a doctor described as likely “helpful a little, not a lot”; and dexamethasone, a steroid that the National Institutes of Health’s clinical guidelines recommend be used only in severe cases of COVID-19.

Seeing these three bunched up together like proven equals -- well, it makes me cringe.
Global warming is nothing less than a huge propaganda campaign by the MSM et al. And the so-called "consensus" isn't a consensus at all. You can't have a consensus when a majority is locked out or censored or demeaned for their scientific analyses that contradicts the global warming narrative.
Overpopulation is in the eyes of the beholder. There is no proof that the theory of "carrying capacity" has been proven. The dominant Elitist Class in control of the media corporations and therefore capable of propaganda, have been selling "overpopulation" for generations now and trying to convince the normal person on the street to jump on board. They've had some success there with birth control and abortions and even sterilization -- convincing people to give up procreation. But when it comes to the Elitists true goal of reducing the population to their imagined ideal -- the Elitists haven't shared with the normal folk that it is ONLY the normal folk who will be expected to sacrifice BEYOND giving up procreation, and actually allow the Elitists to CULL them! Doesn't it look alot different from that perspective? I mean, when Bill Gates gives his population control "lectures" (as if he were a professor!), Gates never says that on Thursday he will lead by example, does he?
And decline of every single ecosystem? That one may seem harder at first to deal with, as we all know so much has been lost. I heard my father's own stories about how he used to go trap crayfish on the edges of wetlands when he was a kid, free to roam and explore. Now those areas are gone, destroyed by construction of the interstate highway, buried in tons of landfill and concrete. However, we can learn from experience and find new ways of doing things. What bothers me is the FACT that the very Elitists who are pushing this emergency are the ones in favor of Geoengineering which is not just invasively encroaching on key fragile or dwindling habitats. They are taking it to a whole new level by ALSO spraying toxic metals and nano-substances EVERYWHERE on Earth, no exceptions, poisoning the air and water and soil, killing insects and birds and the soil biome and on and on. And they are doing it in a secrecy that has left anyone challenging this insanity to be called a "chemtrail conspiracy theorist". The loss of habitats and damage to ecosystems IS INTENTIONAL by them and only the Elitists are powerful and wealthy enough to do this for decades along with the weaponized weather modification technologies which put so many areas in stress and drought-caused fire and smoke and flood-caused pollution and erosion. And then they get on the tube and tell you, since all the Planet's problems are YOUR FAULT, it is now your duty to eat bugs amongst other sacrifices. It is my position that it is NOT your fault, but Earth degradation is the fault of the Power Class of Elitists who make every giant decision of planetary proportions like deliberately spraying the skies with enough toxic material to kill off insects and frogs and birds, like strangling the Earth in a tangled mesh of static electricity, if that is how it can be termed when so much EMF and microwave radiation is introduced that birds can no longer migrate with success, people have increased cancers -- and all this to make sure the Elitists can complete their infrastructure of TECHNOCRACY and their Big Brother control and surveillance.
