Fauci got more comfortable, careless, self-important, smug, and arrogant with each passing president. And there were a lot of them. Reagan-- part of his first term and all of his second, George H. W. Bush--Bill Clinton--both terms, George W.--both terms, Obama--both terms, and then Trump.
All those years--no one bothered him. They all kept giving him more money and more money and more power and more power. He abused both. No one cared. No one even noticed. It is hard to imagine.
It is also hard to imagine such evil, but it is even harder to imagine that such evil has not been held accountable.
