Lighter but very interesting read & via our colleague Igor Chudov, always inviting, & intellectual! "Failings of the Young Generations, Documented Since the 4th Century B.C." Igor has been a soldier
in this fight on the right side of history; he is not liked by some in the Freedom movement, I call it the resistance, because he is a brilliant, no bullshit, straight up; NEEDED, people like him
Igor rightly asked, is humanity doomed? Just look around and one is tempted to ask. I say no, no Igor, not yet, for when I look around I still see in our young folk, some sage and steller ones, good young people who given time, will blossom and take the staff and lead…we are entrusting to them our futures, and theirs, and I sense some good in them. Leadership is wobbly. But what is broken, well, it is our generation who must fix for them…we need to almost clean house for them. They are not capable IMO. We have that skill, they do not…goodness of heart I still see in them though and maybe thats all that is needed to start again.
So grateful for your post.
‘We may have heard how the younger generation is weaker and has lesser morals. Social networks provide us with ample proof of that.
Such a pattern has been seen since at least the 4th century BC!
Aristotle’s observation from the 4th century BC rings quite true 2,500 years later!
However, Aristotle possibly did not realize that old people also “think they know everything and are always quite sure about it.” But that is the way things should be, right?
Is the humanity doomed?’
"Lighter" but very compelling, and leads us all to reflect. What can be better than that? Thanks for sharing this.
Igor is my second source of reliable reports on Substack. You are my first. I subscribe to both.
