‘NIAID has failed because they have had Fauci leading them for 40yrs…allergies have skyrocketed, infectious diseases are off the charts and continuing to climb to new heights.  Not because we don’t know and understand why it is happening but because our public health agencies are ignoring the issues until they can develop a vaccine for them…a vaccine for everything that ails us is the mantra and we are ignoring the other solutions until we have a vaccine.  Many times they are even creating vaccines for issues that really don’t exist…and just telling us that we need to give them to our kids. (What infant really needs a vaccine for an STD??? I mean really) 

During the 100yrs from the late 1800’s until the late 1900’s, what I call the golden century of public health, our public servants were out there pushing for better sanitation…doing some good THEN…getting clean water to houses and getting the waste and trash removed and taken care of. 

They were out there in the schools teaching kids about how to brush their teeth and other good oral hygiene habits.  Children had a real class where they learned about exercise…where we had to go out and jog.  We had health classes where we learned about nutrition…for 100yrs our quality of life was improving, our lives were getting longer and it was not because of pharma companies…it was because our public health agencies were doing their damn job…they were focusing on the four pillars of public health…Sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, exercise….focus on these 4 things and nothing else.

During the last 40yrs (1980s to now) our public health agencies have turned their focus to vaccines…kind of staffed with inept incompetent people…I don’t know why, maybe they decided that people are too lazy, that  maybe they got tired of doing more work for less results…(the last 10% is always hardest)…maybe it was because they wanted to focus on a vaccine for tooth decay, and yes they have been focusing on this for the past 40yrs… https://ami-journals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/lam.13218  but it wont work, we know it wont work but the money train to the researchers is much easier to manage than programs where we implement what we know. 

We have known for decades that by simply spending $25 a year per child we can practically eradicate tooth decay and reduce respiratory infections by over 40%...yet public health chooses not to.  https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/00220345950740121501  why do they choose to spend hundreds of billions researching a vaccine rather than spend a dime implementing programs that they knew worked.

Why is public health not getting Sugar treated like tobacco?  Why is hygiene not being taught to kids in 2-5^th grade.  Why is health not being taught with PE anymore?  These are all failings of our public health going back now for 30yrs+.
