NATURAL IMMUNITY wins! "Long-Term Persistence of IgG Antibodies in recovered COVID-19 individuals at 18 months and the impact of two-dose BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) mRNA vaccination"
AGAIN, natural immunity is superior, here we see anti-NCP (nucleocapsid protein) showing the persistence of infection-induced immunity, that is 'long-term' immunity; yes, small sample but key
Yes still pre-print, but very key paper and even taking into account small sample size.
This “boost” was relatively short-lived. The unvaccinated recovered individuals, in contrast, continued to show a steady decline but detectable antibody levels”
The key take away is that booster shots have only very short-lived additional immunization impacts.
It is way past time to respect natural immunity as superior to vaccine immunity, PERIOD!

Potent findings in line emerged too from this study: “We conclude that the memory B cell response to SARS-CoV-2 evolves between 1.3 and 6.2 months after infection in a manner that is consistent with antigen persistence.”
its always about the recovered, how about someone study why some of us never get the flu or covid, oh right cos if anyone did they might actually cure something and that wouldnt fit the symptom reduction model
Admittedly my husband and I haven't not been out in big crowds or anything, but we remain unvaxxed and haven't been sick in the 2 years since this all started. We are in the "wrong" age group (72 and 75), but we are slim, healthy, no medications taken although we do take vitamins and always have done so. We've never worn masks except early on when you absolutely had to do so to get in a store or two, but probably haven't had one on for 18 or more months. We live in a place where restrictions remained fairly minimal and unenforced, so we've been working out at the gym the ENTIRE TIME, and we've gone to restaurants, etc. We've been around our son and his girlfriend both times they got Covid...first time in November 2019 when no one knew what was going on, and more recently with the Omicron (which appears to NOT be a variant or offshoot of Covid), yet we have remained well, not even a sniffle.
