‘University of Pennsylvania president Liz Magill has resigned after giving controversial testimony before Congress this past week. In that hearing, Magill and other university leaders, including the heads of Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, refused to say that calls for genocide against Jews violates university policy. The university leaders appear to have been coached not to condemn such racist calls against Jews. Critics say the testimony appeared to be supportive of Islamic extremist terrorist ideology against Jews.

Magill announcement her resignation today in an email statement to certain recipients.

According to The Daily Pennslvanian, "The University Board of Trustees held an emergency gathering Thursday in the wake of resignation calls from dozens of government officials and Penn community members. The pressure to resign follows the mounting scrutiny of Magill's "context dependent" response to a question about whether calling for the genocide of Jewish people violates Penn’s code of conduct from Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) — who referenced calls for "Intifada revolution" among some protesters on campus as calls for genocide."

Amid the uproar over the testimony, Magill attempted to dial back her statement in a video. However, it did little to quell the criticism.

Big donors to the University of Pennsylvania have been complaining about the school's policies. After Magill's testimony, major donor Ross Stevens announced he was withdrawing a $100 million grant to the school.

Sunday on "Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson," the program follows the money and finds the Muslim nation of Qatar has become the biggest foreign donor of American universities that have become a breeding ground for anti-Israel sentiment. Qatar is where the leadership of the Islamic extremist terrorist group Hamas resides.

Despite the controversy, Magill will reportedly stay on at the University of Pennsylvania as a tenured faculty member at Penn Carey Law.’
