Sub-variants BQ.1.1 and BQ.1 account for near 70% of the variants and BA.5 has declined to 11%. XBB is at 4.7% (CDC data); how then, would the bi-valent booster work? Rochelle, here's your answer!
The bi-valent booster will be a mismatch (and is a mismatch) for BQ.1.1 and BQ.1 and XBB etc. I think this was done to sell Wuhan vaccine etc. CDC & NIH & FDA & Pfizer know booster will drive variants
See the Variant Proportions as of today as reported by CDC. We see that BQ.1.1 and BQ.1 account for near 70% of the variants and BA.5 has declined to 11%. XBB is at 4.7%.

but they have to get rid of all that excess supply before it expires. i want to know how they dispose of old mRNA. are they throwing it in the ocean without testing it for environmental impact? will we soon see Sudden Fish Death Syndrome?
One of the kids we sponsored to study in NZ picked up Covid again --- unvaxxed.
She had body aches and a bit of a dry cough for a day or so --- she's feeling better --- similar to the last time she had it - a 2-3 day illness.
She's been keeping mostly to her room - so far nobody else in the house has picked up the bug.
I am hearing that this is hitting the town hard with loads of people off sick with this.
And it's summer.
