The broken glass doors were not the entry point into the house. This is evident from the photos on Friday morning. Why would Paul Pelosi go downstairs, greet the man, and bring him up to the bedroom?
Better be careful to not overreach for a conclusion in this. The federal filing reads like a made for television crime story. Almost infantile; cartoonish in some ways. Perhaps it's true. I would feel better if the institutional reputation of the FBI leadership was not generally in tatters.
The broken glass in the door. The only entry needed would be something large enough to reach through and unlock the door. We don't know if that door was dead bolted or if it was, was the deadbolt keyed on both sides. A door with glass panels near the latch/knob assembly does not require a large window opening to crawl through, only to reach through.
That is just not public information yet.
Much the same caution is warranted about the broken glass on the porch. Glass will fall on both sides of the door when such a window is broken to gain access to the bolt/latch control inside.
