Here is the EXACT McCullough protocol for your information:
Paul, I wanted to send a private comment but don't see how right now, so using this article to do it. You can hide it if I'm too alarmist! I have grave reservations over bromelain now. I bought some in 500mg caps and used it briefly awhile back, and I started getting super bright white flashes in my vision whenever I moved my head somewhat sharply at night. And not just occasionally, but *whenever* I moved my head somewhat sharply at night. It seems pretty certain it started with the bromelain. And when I stopped it, it very quickly went away, like 2 days later I stopped getting it. I've been too afraid to even try repeating it as an experiment. Those strong white flashes are optic nerve related. I'm wondering if it's eating the nerves away or nerve connections, or maybe the meylan sheaths of the nerves? It just smells like that kind of problem to me. And on google searches right now, I'm seeing that bromelin "can digest proteins, specifically collagen". And I'm also seeing that "collagans are key componets of peripheral nerves". (I actually just started taking a little collegen occasionally too! in part for a very severe hand injury over the summer) I see also that it's found in one study to help with eye floaters - which is glycated collagen. That's a positive, but maybe additional protein/collagen digestions are being overlooked with it. Should we really be taking something that "digests proteins, specifically collegan", when so much of the body is made of collagen, and we're even supplementing with collagen? I'm really thinking now it's in the category of dangerous supplements. And we shouldn't be implying possible regular use of it, like these spike support recommendations might lead people to do. Please discuss this with Dr McCullough too. I don't think you can suggest this one like other everyday supplements.
Great combination. Starting to recover my fitness after the mRNA shot and feeling strong on it. Recommending to anyone who will listen.
