Dr. Alexander, I'm sure there are many strategy discussions underway right now, but we'd like to contribute an idea to the table. Please consider.
The Convoy should plan to mobilize. There are other cities; bring the message there. The point has been largely made in Ottawa, and the government is gearing up to bring in the goons.
Revving up for the road, and visiting other cities will bring new life into the movement, and show that truckers cannot be stopped. The state will be stuck playing wack-a-mole, and be constantly reorganizing logistics.
We think it will be better to beat a strategic retreat, rather than allow the movement to be pinned down in one place. Schedule a rally in each location, and build the support away from Ottawa, in Ontario, in Toronto...wherever the message can be readily brought to a wider audience.
I hope the merits of this plan will receive discussion. Each new arrival is a press conference and a rally, a new opportunity to get the message out to a new community.
Today's pandemic response is eerily similar to the smallpox pandemic response.
Read this to see where we've been many times before and where we're going.
