these men could have been our fathers and grand fathers…our best friends…blood runs in them nice and red like yours and mines…beautiful human beings…treated like filth…

I was going to say you're opening up a can of worms, but in actuality, you're opening up a 55-gallon drum of worms!  In a large 2020 monograph (https://smartech.gatech.edu/handle/1853/62452), I examined a number of experiments whose odiousness was on a par with that of Tuskeegee, if not worse (see Appendix 1A, especially 1A-1, but including 1A-2 as well, for a list of these experiments).  

One of the main differences between those experiments and what we're seeing today is the scale and test subjects.  The experiments listed were performed mainly on what Franz Fanon called "The Wretched of the Earth".  These were people in institutions or organizations (such as orphanages, prisons, military, asylums, etc.,) who were not told of the risks involved, and who had little choice in the matter.  In the present experiments, they are not limited to hundreds or thousands of people like the experiments past, but they include the entire planet.  They are also not limited to small segments of the unfortunate, but include all societal classes.  Even the Nazis excluded the bulk of the German people from their horrific experiments, whereas today all nationals are fair game.”
