1. Case 1

A 43-year-old healthy man complained of headache, malaise, sore throat, and a high-grade fever (39-40 °C) started ten days after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine (Pfizer) [1], Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine.

2. Case 2

A 56-year-old woman was complaining of shortness of breath, chest pain, weakness, high spiking fever up to 39.5 c, sore throat, pain and swelling of metacarpo-phalangeal (MCP), proximal inter-phalangeal joints, and both knees and ankles, started seven days after receiving the second dose of the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine against Covid-19 (Pfizer).

‘It is important to recognize that a constellation of symptoms in addition to fever should prompt recognition of Still’s Disease. Adult onset Still disease, also known as systemic onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis, is a systemic inflammatory disorder characterized by inflammatory polyarthritis, daily fever, and a transient salmon-pink maculopapular rash. A serum ferritin level of more than 1000 ng/ml is common in this condition.’ (McCullough)

‘Both cases were serious, involved myopericarditis, and required hospitalization and and treatment with pulsed corticosteroids.’
