Standard medical treatment for veterans with post traumatic syndrome is to prescribed psychotropic drugs without any evaluation for nutrient deficiencies that contribute to depression.

The VA did a study in the mid west that indicated great improvement for veterans with health issues if they boosted vitamin D, blood value . frequency of physicians visited drop by 50% ! They ignored their own research, which indicated the health of veterans was greatly improved if they boosted the blood value of vitamin D of the veterans and it improve their health status.! Rather than embrace these findings they ignored them, because it would not grow the bureaucracy that runs the VA system! Vitamin D does not act alone for improving good health, but our medical system does not evaluate nutrient deficiencies before they decide on treatment. B Vitamins are also key along with Co Q 10. Many of the drugs they do prescribe deplete essential nutrients!

I have been following and supporting the J6 detainees. As a veteran myself I can’t ell you how deeply patriotic those who serve are and how disturbed I am. And to see this happening crushes the spirit. Which is what it’s meant to do. They are prisoners of war. Some already had PTSD from their time when deployed to start with. They need our support wherever you can give it.

Same in Canada. A vet was recently looking for psych help and the very first thing the vet doc offered him was

MAIDS, Canada's medically assisted suicide, a suicide drug kit you can pick up at the Drug store with an RX.

They are also pushing for legal post birth "abortions for" children born with disabilities. Socialist "health care" in Canada is far from what everyone tries to make people believe. High Taxes pay for a soulless dysfunctional broken system that is "free" 🙄.

My friend’s nephew killed himself two years ago and my son’s friend’s brother killed himself last year. Both were honorably discharged from, what I believe was Fort Dix. I wonder if all this CRT indoctrination is a part of it. These young men trying to do something honorable and they are told how terrible they are because they are white.

Paul, you may appreciate this brutally honest article by a recently departed Vietnam vet I published as a guest piece for Veterans Day:

That is a terrible statistic. When will they be released and when will they get the help they need.

As a long time user of the VA, I can say that veterans are not always treated respectfully or fairly.

Recently, I had a primary care appt. scheduled for February 2023.

It was cancelled by the VA with no notification or reason. No phone call. No letter. I just happened to stumble upon it by logging into their MyHealthevet system which shows appointments and Rx medications.

For many veterans who are dealing with Military Sexual Trauma, PTSD, and Traumatic Brain Injury, it may not be feasible for them to have to check the validity of their appointments on a regular basis to make sure they haven't been cancelled for no good reason. In addition, people have families, children, elderly parents that need care and attention.

Those of of that are more cynical say that the VA's mission statement should be:

VA: Giving veterans one more chance to die for their country.

The denigration of America's veterans and the relegation of them to less than 2nd class citizens is the shame of our nation and an indelible stain on their brave legacy.

They do not give a damn.....they are fodder to be used anyway they like....just like the

covid jabs and their boosters and the harm done to the people! What really gets me is the Blue states , and the way they voted for an administration that is really the definition of total corruption...i.e. Katie Hobbs versus Kari Lake! sorry USA but your are going down the tube at a troubling rate with this bullshit so called government. What they have done to jan 6 is unconscionable and will forever be a blight on your country!

This breaks my heart. I feel their sadness. I feel defeated after 11/8 and then I think about how horrible our veterans must feel after giving so much and then they suffer with the realization that they are being systematically experimented on with jabs and jailed for speaking out and killed.

Veterans were killed in that awful study to disprove HCQ effectiveness in the beginning of the scamdemic by giving them lethal doses and only to late stage C-19. It is so evil.

The DMED database was glaring evidence of jab injuries and death but the leaders called it a “glitch” to discredit the harm done.

No wonder veterans want to suicide themselves.

The Veterans Administration only pushes drugs! My dad was a veteran and we lost him last year at age 92. I started going with him to his healthcare appointments about 8 years ago. They push all the jabs. I stopped that. I stopped the mind destroying statins I discovered he was on for 25 years. That explained why he got dementia. A talented, witty, smart man could no longer remember all the great things he did because of the damn statins and don’t even argue with me on that. I’ve done more research on them and there are so many ways to control your cholesterol than those toxic drugs. I am grateful I was able to be there those last eight years to take care of him and am still caring for my 91 year old mother. My dad helped so many people in his life it was so commendable and what a loss.

I want to help the J6 prisoners more than anything. But they will just imprison us if we go marching up there so what will that do. I can’t believe this is allowed to continue in our country. These poor people have been beaten, tortured, denied proper healthcare or care from their beatings and mistreatment. Those sentenced make know sense when murderers and rapists get better treatment and healthcare. If I could march up and take all those demon DC bullies and deal with their brutality, I would, but I don’t think I would get far! This comes from the democrats and from the top! When they have said to write them I have not for good reason. The very ones they wanted people to reach out to are the ones the DC bastards are beating and torturing all the time. I did not want to say one word that could have provoked more beatings! So please Dr. Alexander, tell us what we can do because writing isn’t the answer. This facility needs stormed by patriots and all of them rescued but that takes military strength! Right now, the most I can do is pray for them everyday until someone give a viable and successful solution for saving them.

It’s a mess and so disrespectful to the people who protect our country. My husband was 22 years army and keeps being rejected for the VA health care. We’re middle class and he “ makes too much money “. He has some disability but not enough to “ qualify “& he’s not going to exaggerate his conditions. Our local vfw tries to help suicide outreach. Difficult to get through to the younger people.

Appologies in advance for the long post. Wanted to share an organization that helps Veterans in case anyone wants to apply for 2023 or donate.

Our mission at Heroes and Horses is to un-program the programmed. To offer combat veterans an alternative solution for defining and approaching their physical and mental scars—a solution that does not include prescription medications, or traditional psychotherapy, but rather the opportunity to use tools to redefine their purpose, rediscover their inner strength, and maximize their potential by taking ownership of their lives for the first time since leaving service.

2022 Season Recap

In every age, there is a call for introspection.

As I sit down to pen this letter as I do every year, I use the time to reflect on the lessons that have been gifted to me - lessons to navigate as an individual and leader. At times the gifts appear disguised as nightmares, but it's up to us to give them the value that they were intended to have.

As we close out our 7th full season, it is remarkable how far we have come, and what we have learned about human development, trauma, and the state of the American veteran. We have become students of the ruling industrial complex that has led to the horrific number of veteran suicides, now underreported by 37%*, while hundreds of billions feed the cancer. And this is separate from the mass drugging of the mind, body, and spirit that we are witnessing.

We have grown and adapted through understanding and embracing change, always taking the hard right and everything that comes with it. Standing in truth because Truth has no agenda. Our goal is not to sell people's pain or put them on a pedestal, cycling over the past to generate donations by tugging on emotions. Our sole purpose is to restore the dignity of the human experience so an individual can once again participate in creativity and move forward.

It has not been easy. Today we live in an epoch where we have lost all reverence and wonder for the great mystery of the Hero's Journey - living on the surface of our own potential. Slowly we have fallen into identity consciousness ruled by labels and marketed to in a way that reinforces our ignorance of ourselves which is what we should be trying to free ourselves from. Instead, we rip and tear at each other, participating in the wrong side of creativity, and perpetuating a world based in degradation.

This year 24 students came from all walks of life to the Double H Ranch. Over 41 days, students re-membered themselves, bringing all experiences together, but without the emotional charge. Thank you for making this opportunity possible for individuals whom you may never know, but will change the course of history because they changed themselves, choosing the path less traveled.

Our work is advancing, and in part, because of the progress, we have made in the One-Eighty Out Capital Campaign and the program infrastructure that it has granted us. This year, despite material challenges, we built the rock house with an outdoor sauna, a cold plunge pool, and an indoor riding arena.

We made program effective changes by creating a cookbook and meal program called the Anti-Inflammatory Farmacy while refining our fitness program and adding a series of new rituals to the 41-day experience. The investment into the individual at H&H is the most comprehensive and involved process in the United States today and I can honestly say I have the most real and committed, hardworking, selfless team in the space.

The message of Heroes and Horses has grown and is inspiring people all over the world to form a community and create a wave of change in the lives of those who are facing hardships. Learning to stand in the current truth of who you are is the most difficult task I have ever faced. When the shields are down and identities are blown away only then can we get a clear view of where we are in our life path, adopting truth as an identity.

Looking ahead, we will be adding a 4th class in the coming year to welcome 32 individuals from all walks of life to Montana, brought here by your support and love. Love for complete and total strangers who are battered, hurting, and broken from experience. Fathers, sons, brothers, and uncles are applying by the hundreds - lives hanging on in survival mode but willing to follow the path less traveled.

We are grateful for all of the creative ways our community has shown their support in the last year to make this vision a reality - from traveling from all over the world to volunteer, to buying sleeping bags, making bracelets, making monetary contributions, donating saddles, hosting dinners, making introductions, and running hundreds of miles to raise awareness. Thank you hardly sums it up.

But our journey is far from over. As we close out the final months of 2022, there are priorities that remain front of mind. Construction on our new volunteer cabins has begun, final touches need to be made on the indoor arena, and the $400,000 balance on our $1M matching grant from the Ackerman Estate needs to be fulfilled.

We are confident that we will accomplish these goals, and more, with the generous support from our community because what we are doing matters. We're not here to feel good, we're here to transcend. Living from the inside out rather than from the outside in.
