Thank you for telling us WHY so many deaths in Buffalo - and giving credit to a radio station that was doing it's job.

And for pointing out how far both parties - with very few exceptions - have fallen into hell.

I lived in suburbs of Buffalo most of my life There has never been in 40+ years more division in the last 2+ years. All this division created by the democrats. Buffalo and NYS has been majority ran over the past several years. During COVID Erie County was “punished” by Cuomo and Polancarz shamed for not wearing masks or vaccinations. In neighboring counties rurally populated no restaurant bans etc it was ridiculous.

Blizzard

1. There was plenty of warning but we do get many “lake effect snow warnings” sometimes they end up being more north or south of the city.

2. driving ban should have started at 6 or 7 am therefore not as many people would have been on the roads or gone to work

3. Gas prices are high in NY many people get only what they need for a few days or one work week not filling up their tanks. My daughter drives with $20 worth in her tank at a time.

4. Better communication between surrounding towns and city.

5. I have friends who live in the city there are many “renters” verse people who own and live in their own homes in certain areas. The renters don’t obey parking on the on street parking rules. Buffalo is densely populated area in the West Side / East Side some places the houses are very close together. My daughter lives in North Buffalo (Italian /white area) her street wasn’t plowed until Tuesday frustrating. Equal # of white and black died minus one or two.

Lastly in the upper middle class suburbs Williamsville Clarence area where I live we didn’t see plows until Monday or Tuesday. Many in our areas without power for 4 days.

This was the worst response to a winter storm we should never have 40 deaths for a two day blizzard. WBEN930 radio did a great job.

We did take in hundreds of refugees and illegals due to democrat leaders in commutation from DC they have put a strain on our already tapped out healthcare (staffing shortages due to vax mandates) and local food banks for our own low income communities.

Brian Higgins Schumer and Gillabrant were noticeably silent throughout the storm.
