Dr. Alexander, It is great that you can be counted as a supporter of the Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights. Please don't forget that the Founding Fathers meant the Second Amendment to be an affirmation of our God-given right to freedom, life and self-protection. It is a commitment that the right to keep and bear arms is untouchable ("shall not be infringed") by government, especially if that government shall become unbearable. So please be careful when you put qualifications on this all-important right-- "properly stored, well trained on handling, legal, permitted etc." These are small impediments that lead to infringement. Give the government an inch and it will take a yard. Permit that government to pass these "common sense" laws and you are opening the gates to confiscation from which there is no turning back. History will testify what happens when the citizens allow the government to disarm it.
We have been deceived for far longer than the COVID years. I closely followed the coverage of the Bataclan massacre but do not recall any major US media providing any coverage of the torture and brutality in your description.
