The arithmetic necessary to prove that absurdity one could do in one's head: So, in the super duperest country the world has ever known with the super duperest doctors in the entire galaxy, 2 million could die -- from a respiratory infection? Really? OK, let's see. For 2 million to die, how many would have to become infected? Of those, how many would have to become symptomatic? Of those, how many would have to become very ill? Of those, how many would need hospitalization in order for 2 million to die? All this assuming said super duper country has no medicines -- 𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒆 -- to treat the symptoms? Had a word of that that Trump parroted been remotely possible, we would have already been seeing it and no one would need to keep hammering at us about a "pandemic."
