I disagree about Redfield being a good person. He was among the worst. I remember well his ridiculous testimony to Congress to the effect that if only everybody would wear a mask the pandemic would magically end (as he fondled his mask and otherwise breached every sensible mask-wearing protocol). I also remember his letter to the editor of a medical journal trumpeting the facially ridiculous story about how masks stopped the spread in a beauty parlor. He was front and center pushing the stupidness. The fake science he peddled caused enormous harm.
VA still uses Plexiglas and marking off every other chair to prevent veterans from sitting in them.
Before the plandemic, veterans who sat next to each other always started up a conversation. Questions like what branch of service and places they served. There was instant camaraderie. The waiting room would sometimes get lively with other vets joining in sharing stories.
Now...VA forces us to wear a mask or we are denied medical care.
Now...vets don't seem to talk to each other anymore.
Probably small beer in the U.S. but here in the U.K. a journalist, Isabel Oakshott, has got hold of hundreds of Whatsapp messages involving Matt Hancock, govt. covid enforcer and health secretary, showing the whole covid charade was a sham. The dam is breaking here and many covid tyrants are jumping ship or claiming they were only following orders.
Actually, as Dr Atlas revealed, the science came from some obscure early 1900s source that said 30 feet. They knew they couldn't do that so wanted to say ten. But they didn't think the American public would know what ten feet was, so they settled with two arms length which is about six.
I read another experiment how they got the 6 ft rule. They had a table of lit candles and had someone blow air out of their mouth as hard as possible at the lit candles on the table. They measured the distance between the person blowing air and the distance where there was no flicker of the candle by the air. It measured 6 ft.
People have a primal fear of disease and limited ability to know what is true and what is false. In the face of this uncertainty and fear, people readily latch onto various ideas in a superstitious way.
That is, uncertainty creates superstition as a comfort, a way to cope and feel protected.
