I pray for Father's protection, comfort, amazing grace, wisdom, insight, and understanding over you and your family and those of like mind and spirit who are beacons of His light at this time. Doc, I'm so relieved that you and your family are safe. The timing of the jackboots makes perfect sense, they could not allow you and your cadre to take the stage again today. Castreau is financially conflicted, as are surely others in his govt, which explains why they cannot defend themselves. They cannot be questioned publicly. They are responsible for profiteering off the death-shots and murdering many thousands. They're scared for their lives and will not go quietly.
I keep thinking this is a coup, a worldwide coup. The only thing that can win against it is universal non-compliance. The only way to get THAT is to communicate with people so they understand what's at stake. You are at ground zero and maybe the most dangerous to the coup because of the information you have and your ability to communicate so effectively. I can't even describe the hope I have for your well being and success.
You are basically in good company being vilified by the press and most likely by the government. It seems that CTV news did a hit piece on Brian Peckford. Imagine in Canada that the news and government are vilifing not only the millions of fringe elements of society but are actively attacking a former premier from one of our provinces and an active participant in our Charter of Rights. It defies the imagination. I believe one of the most frightening aspects of this emergency act is the freezing of bank accounts linked to donations for the Truckers Convoy. As I have said on many substacks before I was twenty years old when Pierre Trudeau invoked the War Measures Act and witnessed the military coming into our cities. And yet again in my life I get to witness the sane response by another prime minister from the same family. But to my knowledge, and if anyone can enlighten me, I don't believe the draconian act of freezing Bank accounts was applied during this political turmoil. Perhaps it was simply a case of not having the technology we have today. At this point it is probably a foregone conclusion that the emergency act will pass given the support of the NDP. If nothing else I would hope that a few restrictions would be put in as a condional agreement of this so called temporary measure. For me right now the most chilling aspect of this bill is the financial witch hunt for people that donated to this protest. I am both relieved and ashamed to say that I didn't donate any money to the Truckers Convoy. I have never donated to any cause on line. I don't bank on line. But what is beginning to alarm me is how far will this purge go. As far as I am concerned online funding is a dangerous place to go. Imagine giving money in good faith only to discover later this wasn't government acceptable. And then they freeze your account. Up until September of 2021 I had never used social media and at that point took the plunge with substack. Now I am beginning to wonder if they will investigate many of the substacks that people like you, Alexander have, are we all too, going to be under the same inquisition microscope for daring to communicate and support you. On a positive note I saw today that the Premier of Alberta is filing a case against the Federal Government for enacting the Emergency Act. I would expect a few other provinces might get on board but as a resident of British Columbia I am quite positive we won't be following suit. In our province the Justice Minister, Mike Farnsworth basically called anyone who refused or questioned the current vaccines as " covidiots". At this point in my life, soon to be 72 years old, I am ashamed to be a Canadian.

If you are arrested, I am predicting one of your bail conditions will be that you can not say anything about Covid.
Two other trucker organizers that have been arrested have had speech restrictions placed upon them as conditions of bail.
Canada does not have free speech.
