Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution, when we examined it, I can say VPOTUS Kamala Harris is eligible to be POTUS; questions were raised BUT Kamala can run for POTUS; OBAMA was NOT
So I can say Kamala Harris is eligible to be POTUS and that question to be put to bed but there is and will always be a question & a good argument Obama was never eligible to be POTUS
So Kamala is eligible, the focus has to be on her catastrophic record, lets go…she handed us a gift in ‘Stolen Valor Mogadishu Tampon Tim’ Walz…
hhhmmmm:
And this is what has always been so infuriating. Obama was not eligible to be POTUS and no person and no group of people, no agency did a damn thing about it. And Obama is still running the country into the dirt.
Kamala is not eligible for EXACTLY the same reason that Obama was not eligible.
Though her parents were not US citizens at the time of her birth, making her ineligible. Barry’s mom was US citizen at the time of his birth, making him eligible--but only up to the point that she, with him in tow, relinquished her US citizenship to become an Indonesian citizen. At the moment she naturalized as an Indonesian citizen, little Barry became an Indonesian citizen, because the citizenship of a minor follows that of the custodial parent, allowing Lolo to marry her and to adopt little Barry as his own son.
At that point little Barry was in exactly the same position as Kamala. Her citizenship, regardless of where she was born, followed that of her custodial parent.
Later, she may or may not have undergone naturalization. But, in either case, she was and is ineligible both to serve as Vice President or as President.
Barry, later, may have undergone naturalization to regain his US citizenship, but whether or not he did, he was ineligible to become President.
That’s what all the hubbub was about in faking the missing birth certificate. NOT to prove he was a citizen by birth. Why? Because no matter where on the planet he was born, he was born to a woman with US citizenship, making him a US citizen. It was, rather, to draw attention away that once his mom because an Indonesian citizen, he did as well. So, either he is a naturalized Indonesian and not eligible for presidency or he later became a naturalized US citizen and is not eligible for the presidency--that is, in EXACTLY the same position as Kamala but by a slightly different route.
Since the Minor v Happersett decision there has NEVER been either a Constitutional amendment changing the requirement for being elected President or a bill passed by Congress and signed into law conferring citizenship by the accident of having been born within US territory.
The Minor v Happersett decision is still the controlling definition.
It doesn’t make any difference what people believe to the contrary. That was always the plan of the socialists even back in the days of Minor v Happersett, to be able to vastly inflate they own voting rolls by ad hoc definitions entirely lacking a basis in law.
