This is the inevitable outcome of an abortion mentality. For if people can justify the murder of an innocent unborn child, they can justify anything. Abortion hardens people's and nations hearts. That is why it is a small few who still get outraged at travesties like this, with children who happen to be on the outside of the womb. Think about it. In the U.S. alone, there have been over 60 million abortions. Figuring some women had more than one, probably about 40 million women since the Roe v Wade. Figure 35 million of those still alive. Walking around with the knowledge and guilt of what they have done to their unborn child, in the name of convenience, career, etc. Many never sharing what they did, and most never pursuing forgiveness and healing. So we see them continue in sin, their souls being corrupted further. People wonder how can women and moms be ok with drag queen shows, puberty blockers, gay men dressed as women beating up on women in sports, and on and on. The guilt of abortion corrodes their sense of morality, telling them "You can't speak up, look at what evil you did to your own kid." And many of them are surrounded by cucked men who are happy with the access to sex without responsibilities. [I do know there are many men who are the victims of abortion too in that the mother of their child aborted their baby without his consent. That is a horrible burden to carry too.] Our consolation is the children are now resting with the Lord.
So, we should be past the point of being outraged at the lack of outrage when evils like these murders occur. It will only get worse until there is a national repentance. The question is, will it take another 4 years of evil people in DC and elsewhere to make things really horrible before we repent?
