not subversive 'opportunist' untrustworthy people...the democrats never ever do this, they know how to win & how to unify & how to stand together to protect their own vs the hypocritical opportunists
Trump should get somebody like Steve Bannon to help him select his team. Trump needs to recognize that facile "yes men" often turn out to be traitors, like Pompeo, who buttered up Trump all the time while just biding his time until he could undermine him.
Don’t forget. He had a lot of great picks too.. the best ones were taken down quickly (I.e. Gen Flynn). The good ones are still out there, working hard, and coming back with a vengeance... plus more good ones they will find and vet. He was new to DC politics and like most of us back then he trusted the government a bit too much (though he was always anti-McCain & Bushes and their senseless wars--boy was he right -- because he has a good honest heart for the American people and America. Now he knows and will have had 4 years for all the rats to show themselves one by one (and they sure are!!!) and verify the good loyal patriots as well. I think that’s what the deep state fears the most about his RETURN AS POTUS!
He walked into a hornet's nest of permanent state intelligence operatives. Look at how he and Pence got played by Fauci, Birch, et al... and one thing positive is that now we all know how the FDA, NIH, NIAID and CDC are corrupted. People who approve the drugs get royalty payments? Seriously? No different than cartels selling street poison on commission.
I'm not from the USA but I have watched US politics for some years now. My stance on this is that anyone who has built a multi-billion dollar enterprise the way that #45 did, could not be as inept as being made out in choosing/selecting officials. Almost every one he appointed has turned out to be a dud, but it has taken time for them to expose themselves. Was this his intention? The big question is, if Trump had not become President in 2017, would anyone have found out about the absolute corruption which has been exposed? Killary would have hidden it and no-one would have been any wiser - probably because the country would be well on the way to be Chyna 2.0. From what I see of Trump, he says/does nothing without knowing what the reaction will be beforehand. Everything is calculated to draw a reaction. Could Trump be considered a master strategist in this game? The Art of War (SunTzu) - the Art of the Deal (Donald John Trump).
He admitted that he did not make the right choices his first go around. He said he’d only been to DC a few times in his life and really didn’t understand the people. He said he knows them now and will not make the same mistake. So many backstabbers and liars. I heard Pompeo was one of the worse. He also said, and I think this is most important, that Ivanka & Jared would NOT be members of his administration this time. No family member will be involved. He says it’s too hard on them. I think Jared Kushner was one of the most poisonous ppl in the whole administration. I also hear that Jared and Ivanka are both members of WEF’s young global leaders. Fact is, we don’t need either!
The evil runs deep in DC and loyalty to conservative values is shallow. Best bet would be an administration with mostly outsiders with a few loyal insiders who know how to pull necessary levers. Nearly impossible to navigate from within DC and the behemoth that is the permanent administrative state. God help us.
This is what confounds me: how you can be inarguably correct on many fronts and still support Trump despite his fatal dropping of the ball his first time out. You’ve even enumerated some of the problematic facts yourself (I’d be happy to fill in any blanks). Is this a default thing, where you’re advocating for a perceived lesser evil? Sticking with who you think is most likely to win from a less than sterling field? Because that support is inexplicable given Trump’s culpability in signing off on a genocidal campaign others put it in motion. As such, he doesn’t deserve a pass anymore than he deserves the idiotic witch hunt. Subscribe to my Substack
Trump is not a perfect man. I like what I see with RFK so far but idk for sure his stance on abortion. That is very important to me and a dealbreaker. With that said, I voted for Trump twice. Yes, he dropped the ball a few times and I don’t like that he hasn’t distanced himself from the shots. He just admitted that he made mistakes with his first administration. He had only been to DC a few times in his life and didn’t really understand the ppl. He trusted ppl he should’ve never trusted. He said he knows better now. He also stated that Ivanka & Jared will not have a roll in his next administration. Jared especially was a terrible influence on Trump and others around him. I truly don’t see any other candidate that can start to fix the mess we’re in. He is beholden to no one. He does not need special internet money. More importantly, he terrifies not only the DC elites but the globalists as well. It’s obvious he is a danger for them by the constant attacks. I certainly don’t like everything he does but at least I felt safe with him in office and I think he is our only hope to stop the globalists takeover. He thwarted already once, I’d like to see him finish the job. I doubt they’re going to let him back in the WH though. There’s too much to lose for the ruling class.
Why would I want to read your substack when all you do is criticise the man who was making America great again. You don't suggest an alternative with reasons for your choice. 80+ million Americans and their families don't agree with you.
Because it would doubtlessly prove profitable to one-dimensional minds such as yours that have helped foster the fecklessness of our every societal sector. That, at least, is the prevailing theory. Admittedly, some are beyond hope, willing to sell out their families’ futures in the name of complicit conformity. George Bernard Shaw said “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” I am that unreasonable man. Subscribe to my Substack
“False modesty is but impudence adorned" - Rousseau. Do you expect one to shyly assert truths or suppress valid questions out of some asinine modesty? Really, on the eve of our unilateral exit? Is it the point I make that you find objectionable, or the manner in which I make it? Are either truly indictable? Have you done the requisite homework by which to counter my statements? Or are yours merely the dinny echoes of what’s been programmed into you? Feel free to disabuse me of reservations about what you might bring to the table…
What's simply amazing are all the great accomplishments Trump had, in spite of fighting Russian collusion for 3 years, phony impeachments, radical Democrats, and innumerous very bad selections. I dare say that Trump has by now learned all the tough lessons.
Mitch McConnell told him who the Senate would and wouln't confirm. Pence was selected by the RNC. DeSantis pushed him to keep Fauci and he was probaly taking advice from Hotez, Gorski and Offit. Bolton would have been Pompeo's pick. Barr promoted himself and initially did a good job on his response to the Mueller report.
Trump's flaw is, he loves to be flattered, if you tell him anything that boosts his ego, he may just hire you. Most times the people doing the flattering hate him.
Lack of good judgement, especially regarding people, is not a learned trait. Trump's lack of good judgement (Fauci and his bioweapons) cost millions their lives along with millions more permanently harmed. Even today he boasts of his vaccines saving millions of lives. I cannot and will not trust my life and those of family and friends to Trump. He simply lacks good judgement.
Fauci was there before Trump, I'm convinced that Trump would have fired Fauci once the election was over, but if you remember, the general public thought Fauci a god, and for Trump to have fired him would have lost many votes.
His biggest mistake was in not immediately revoking the national security clearances of Obama holdovers like Brennen and Clapper, evil Deep Statists.

Like Jared.

You are right, but it seems that Trump is too susceptible to flattery. I hope he has learned some lessons.

Thanks for the outside-the-box opine. Valuable to have another's view.

Add Ronna McDaniel to the list as well and Trump still supports her! How?Why?

You speak with such modesty.

I wonder who was advising him.
Trump was an outsider. He was misled by Obama stooges. And the likes of scumbag Lindsay Graham.
Trump expected government employees to behave like private sector employees. And when they didn't, he had a difficult time holding them accountable.
Every "Secretary" Trump appoints must take a polygraph to weed out the communists!
Who’s fault is it? He made lousy appointments over and again.
Trump brought all these SOBs front and centre so they would be caught in their own sh*t

They “ said nice things” about him… until they didn’t.
