How about asking what this country has done and keeps doing to destroy the cultures and safety in homelands. People don't expatriate for the fun of it, especially when they are running for their lives. Trump, with cruel intention, separated young children from their families causing life long trauma and very likely creating angry people. However, both Obama and Biden deported more people than Trump did so get off your stick and start looking at the causes of the flood of immigration. Most Europeans in the 18-20c came for similar reasons--hunger and political/religious persecution. The ruling elite came because they lost out on the land distribution practices and had their own ego issues. So why was it okay for those white people to flee horrid conditions caused by their own countries but not okay for people to flee for horrid conditions caused by the US. Goddess knows why they would want to come here!
