I think the sky would have been the limit for him if he hadn’t been targeted so viciously by the left. I don’t know how he could tell friend from foe towards the end plus some of his close family are liberals at heart. The big difference is I don’t believe he would have mandated anything. Is it possible that he is placating some former Democrats and many Republicans by not condemning the shots then believes not mandating keeps his base?
