“Harvard’s and UNC’s admissions programs violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment,” the Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 decision in the UNC case and a 6-2 decision in Harvard case
Students are going to be admitted on merit? In the US? Wow?! The world is in shock. US admissions on merit? Being academically mediocre but with the right ancestry is not enough? I bet skin color continues to be used to gain top academic results.
These liberal judges are not true objective Constitutional judges at all and Obama knew exactly what he was doing when he appointed them. They are not even that smart.....Obama is a very deranged mentally ill person and he was “groomed” by leftist organizations. Before he got to Harvard etc he was a third rate student at a second rate college...then suddenly boom he is at Harvard .... ok but this is not about Obama just that the article mentions the leftist judges....there is so much wrong with student loans....Congress passed a law I believe ages ago that no student could declare chapter 11 if he or she could not pay back the loan....you can with business loans but not student loans?....give me a break......more abuse of our kids......second, college is big business not education at all.....and third I watched a Town Hall with Biden where a parent said to him that he, the parent, had worked three jobs to pay for his child’s education and would he get the money back?...Biden pushed him away and said something very nasty.....Biden has always been a very mean spirited pervert....
I believe the entire system needs to be redone....maybe college and trade schools should be a public education extension as we have evolved into needing more than a 12th grade education.....these kids are the continuation of our society.....they are very important......but tens o thousands of dollars a year to get a so called education (a brainwashed one at that) is absurd....
Finally! It’s insulting to students of color - as if they need help from the government to succeed! It should also be illegal in hiring practices, too.
Everything said here is highly questionable. The case was presented so superficially that one almost thinks failure was planned. The Court decision however does not do aways with AA as any decent selection process evaluates more than just racial identity. Many POC are highly qualified but suffer from structural racism at every level of their education and admission process. Elite and elitist schools really have no idea of their own racism and that is part of the problem. So Paul is simply spouting racism and celebrating it. Boo Hiss!
