Of course freed hostages is good but if not all then deal is horrid. Does anyone remember the top slate of Hamas leaders now in charge were released out of Israeli jail in trade for hostages ? Oh, does this mean that the middle east stays in the middle-east? As long as the opposing sides stay right where they are then most of the world will be happy. Peace will only be temporary unless Israel returns all land stolen from Palestinians. They will never agree to that.
Think about it. If someone stole your family's orange grove that you had carefully tended for three generations, paid taxes, etc. and then a gang of Israelis came in the middle of the night and forced you to leave at gunpoint, giving you only ten minutes to gather only what you could carry....you would probably not be happy with them!

If Biden had some balls then this ceasefire could have taken place over a month ago. All Biden had to do is say that Israel is not getting one more penny of US taxpayer money if the carpet bombing continues in Gaza, and I suspect that the bombing would have stopped immediately.
