Others feeling down- Mikey B chin up. Do not give your power to mr T. Like Tom from Convoy said, he has force but people have the power…. The truckers have done something amazing for the world. They have broken open the narrative and it is falling apart. This is desperation. They have exposed their own corruption to the world. Have faith. We will get through this. Like Dr. Malone said, truth is a lion and doesn’t need protection. That lion is awake and roaring…. Truth is being revealed and in time the houses of cards built upon lies will fall. That is my hope and what I believe and what I will put my attention as mr t is not worthy of one ounce of my energy and attention and I won’t give it to him.
And I send all my love and strength to all the courageous heroes who are unjustly suffering or persecuted in many ways thanks to Mr. T. You, Dr. Alexander and the truckers, everyone else are heroes and I hold you all in my prayers. ❤️

sorry just utterly dispirited. I thought maybe this was a ploy that would last long enough to crush the convoy then fail in the house. But it looks like he's playing for keeps and "our" legislators are giving it to him.
Senate? I don't have much hope there.
The banking freezes are dystopian (corporate banks have been doing similar things for wrongthink for awhile), but otherwise, I'm not sure the emergencies act matters at all. Being able to legally suspend civil liberties only matters in a scenario where they weren't illegally suspending civil liberties (with almost no court willing to uphold the written law).
This is speculation but imo the reason the Liberals, Cons and NDP voted the way they did is they need to feed their bases after being absolutely embarassed for weeks. Collective punishment of the convoy is a morale booster for NDP and Libs, not much more. The cons are trying to trick ppl into voting for them again but if they really opposed the EA, they'd have walked the streets showing support. Only the Bloc voted against the EA on principle.

Now he is completing his un-Canadian dictatorship by imposing martial law ON NO LEGAL GROUNDS: the peaceful local Freedom Trucker convoys that his defamatory mischaracterization is perversly abusing as a pretext for the Emergencies Act lack its criteria for "National Emergency" in every way! WHERE IS YOUR RED LINE!?
Reject his totalitarian Emergency abuse NOW: It is time to immediately end all mandates and restrictions. I am further calling on you to remove Justin Trudeau as prime minister. It is time to do the right thing. I’m very distressed that Tamara Lich was denied bail. Is there a way to know more about these proceedings? And as odd as it sounds, just putting this out to you Dr Alexander (or anyone) is there any way a person could write to her? 😭 My brain cannot take what is happening.
I am equally outraged and distressed by everything that has happened. I heard that the judge that denied Tamara’s bail said it was because the “charges were serious”. I thought she was charged with mischief?
I realize that we are in the minority but we should be able to do something about brazen acts against the Charter of Rights and democracy and the utter lawlessness that has been pervasive in our government. The brave truckers and their supporters cannot be punished and left alone to fight for freedom. Tell me what to do!
Yes a person feels so helpless. It makes me cry, how is this happening. I read on Rebel News that Tamara was denied bail because the judge “believed there was a substantial chance Lich would reoffend if released.” (Yet in CTV news you can read that even the guy who drove his vehicle into protestors in Winnipeg was released on bail.) So it seems beyond unjust. Everything seems the inversion of what it should be. I agree with you, I wish there was a way to help those who are being punished for this. They did so much for us.
For now I am praying.
