Dude, there's hope. My elderly parents--who got the first 3 shots--shocked me this weekend by announcing that they think the bivalent boosters are "too new" and "don't have enough research". I had to hide my desire to laugh out loud and say, "And the original shots did?", because I don't want them to feel in any way bad for their decision. It's more important to keep them away from the needle than to say, "Duh! Told you so..."

I’m just north of Tampabay and we are lucky. Very little damage and no flooding. It was supposed to hit us. Missed us by the skin of our teeth.
