I and others have written about this repeatedly, and called on the CDC and NIH leaders to use the podium, we called on Adams under Trump and Murty under Biden; 'crickets'...a real problem
I am sorry, but 32% obesity tracks obesity in the general population.
In other words, it is like saying that 32% hospitalized are blondes whereas 32% of population are blondes, it looks like obesity is not a deciding factor.
With regards to obesity and vaccine passports which are in Canada: as an unvaccinated person with no passport I am forbidden to eat in restaurants but, and this is the crazy part; I can enter and get food from all the junk food establishments. How does this make any sense? Answer: it doesn't. Why would any sane health policy encourage people to eat at these unhealthy venues knowing that obesity is a driving force for bad covid outcomes.
I saw this video today of a guy who said his brother called to tell him he tested positive for covid. But it turned out from the printout it was coronavirus, the cold, not covid 19. So he was incorrectly counted as a covid patient. Wonder if this is rampant
