China is in deep trouble, can fall!: "Western Scientists Cheered On China’s Covid Repression" (WSJ); Many public-health elites still won’t admit it was a mistake for West to adopt Beijing’s strategy
Well written piece by Allysia Finley and it is a wonder WSJ published this! My take, omicron will spread (and other variants) & China may actually fall, 1 billion infected, the world is in trouble!

The CCP... picture this... Party members dragged into streets and hung. Then imagine that flaming out worldwide. Deathcult has death grip on us? They better because they face DEATH THEMSELVES.
Covid was over blown. Omicron is a cold.. So what if 1 billion Chinese catch a cold for a week? They are generally not obese or diabetic, so their risk profiles are not even that significant other than possibly age. The real fear is that China will get covid, get over it, and the truth will be out, that the whole lockdown response was completely unnecessary, and more people will wake up to this massive power grab by ALL governments.
I suspect they have all been forced vaxed just to survive in their Society. Of course all their immune systems are now in default. So now they will be burning bodies?
Eons ago I was a LA Times subscriber as well as NYT. I dropped the LA Times after they ran an editorial piece by Arriana Huffington where I knew she was mis-stating facts because I personally knew of the facts. So I canceled that paper. Same with NYT. I switched to WSJ and a local LA Daily News paper. Both seemed to still do investigative reporting. Then came Covid. At first Dr. Ladapo's essays and Dr. Atlas's essay against lockdowns were published. So too was a doc working for an organization serving the poor in third world countries who pleaded against lockdowns because it would lead to devastation in those countries. Those voices were silenced by early April. At first I thought it was a fluke. It wasn't. The WSJ created videos with nurses screaming how bad it was. Opinion pieces ran with attorneys stating unequivocally that social media platforms could censor speech. As a non constitutional law attorney, it took me five minutes to research an argument that would later be used in part by Alex Berenson's team. So glad WSJ is now running this piece, but too little too late for me to every trust that once great paper every again.
If I were the leader of China, I would put everyone that is well on Ivermectin and zinc protocol adding in Vit D3+K2 as they are notoriously sun avoiders and low in this immunity enhancing vitamin. All who get sick go on Ivermectin protocol early to reduce length and severity. If they did that they could nip the outbreak in the bud just as that province in India did. I can’t believe the Chinese government would ignore the science unless they wanted too…..
I feel like this was the plan all along. The elites don't care. They're safe. I don't think these rulers care about sovereignty and when they're threatened with economic collapse otherwise if they don't so this then what?
As a lay person, no medical or scientific background, I said about 2+ yrs. ago that the lockdowns, masking, social distancing would not eliminate the virus. I said, like a patient predator, it would wait then strike. That's basically what happened. (Of course, the useless gene therapy poisons have strengthened and mutated the virus even more.) The reports and studies, many recognized by Dr. Alexander, that came after proved I was right. The government of China has set the country's inhabitants up for a big strike by the virus. Hopefully, this will not cause the virus to become more virulent (mortal). China has the medical factories so they should gear up to produce the vast amounts of Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine and the other meds and vitamins necessary to treat the people there. Good luck to the people there. Back luck to the Communist China ruling tyrants. I hope they all fall as a result of their reckless actions.
I have had several Chinese acquaintances. One has a mother who required emergency open heart surgery for a clot in her heart. Clearly their vaccines are as “ effective” as the West. I’m in Australia, and we have had a number of our “ health experts “ come out to unlucky and say outright that the Chinese have a problem because they didn’t accept our proven and effective vaccines. These people should check the excess deaths- were running about 17-18% .
Didn't the Chinese already do a mass vaccination with their own more traditional vaccines? I would suspect any benefit from them would be short-lived and vaccinations are no longer effective, since that is the pattern seen with animal coronavirus vaccines. I understand that such vaccines are only used for short-lived livestock or temporary situations. The important question is whether the traditional vaccines of the Chinese fail in a different fashion from our genetic treatments.

If China's lockdowns have worked so well why do they still need them?
Seriously, it is still 99% survivable, as always (and I have long Covid). Covid alone won't cause a collapse... but policy responses can.

Over-hyping what is now largely a cold damages your otherwise stellar reputation for judiciously pursuing "the truth". Am I wrong?
