Second, if the US shot down a balloon then how would you respond when China shot down or blew up US spyware. You can't really think or believe the US is not spying on other countries massively. Don't take this lightly. Yes we have no sovereignty anymore but if this has a nuclear payload on it, it is the perfect weapon to launch an EMP attack by detonating itself right where it is RIGHT NOW. This is the one nightmare scenario that keeps me awake at night. Such an attack would knock out electricity here for a year resulting in 90% of people dying. Oh and not all at once or painlessly.
