There is a convincing argument that this is being done on purpose to hurt the west. Shanghai is the largest port on the earth and they closed it. It used covid as cover to help inflation go higher in the west. China was begging the Feds not to raise rates because of their real estate problem. They may be trying to encourage a slowdown to influence rates lower. Really won't work because inflation is a strong element once it starts you almost need to let it play out. This achieves 2 things. First it introduces the notion of vaccine liability tothose who may be drunk on CBC media CNN here and CDC etc. Second it can be drafted to address a) Vaccines not effective and b) Vaccines not safe.
