Congress is the only place on Earth where you debate giving yourself a 5% raise, settle for 3% and then go to the American Public and claim you took a 2% pay cut.
Yes Paul, you are right, they're all beasts. I believe we're in a spiritual war, good V evil and we must stand up to it. Everything the "government" is doing we must say NO. If we look at what they're doing with our kids and the transgender fad, wasting tax dollars to Ukraine which I believe is a money laundering scheme and all the other evil corrupt things they are doing, we must say, "I will not comply" period!
The government only works for it's own agenda. Good for those swindlers and bad for us who have to pay. It's a joke. That is why I lean towards anarchy where there is no government telling you what to do...only people living in peace going about their business and interacting to benefit both parties.
Just a 20% pay increase... Why the complaints? Heck we have the best Government Money can BUY.. You can't buy a Better Government!! If you could Big Pharma would have bought that one...
Yup ... and this tragedy of extremely poor governance was also bemoaned by Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) & Will Rogers & many more & in recorded Biblical history & the Pilgrims (Separatists) who fled England & then Holland to take a very dangerous journey across the Atlantic to seek solace & more self-governance in a New World in the 1620’s. This a sadly a common problem down thru the ages due to the human bent toward self-will & rejection of our Creator God’s divine intervention in our lives to help us fullfill His will & design for our lives for our betterment & that of others & our ultimate salvation thru His redemptive plan. Money, power, control, status, prestige... will never fulfill the great need of the human heart, mind & will to find joy & peace in the Creator.

I absolutely agree, all the politicians are out for themselves. All insider trading, charging people rent when championing against rent and mortgage payments for themselves, asking for student loan forgiveness for themselves, when they make well over 150,000 a year??? WTH is that crap, buying or selling stock when you have the inside track and hold things up before voting so hubby can buy stock!!!! Both sides are LIARS and THIEVES they all need to be investigated and thrown out of congress or the Senate for these unlawful acts except that even the DOJ and FBI are all in on it. If Congress were all fired, would there be any people with integrity who could replace them? President Trump wanted to get rid of lobbyists. .Lobbyists should never have been permitted to approach our representaives.. They used money to influence the way our representatives voted on issues that would benefit their business interests...not the American people. Lobbyists must be banned! Many people today worship money, It is their god! The only One who could solve our problems...needs to be be in this equation. This is the One who created humanity...and has the answers we need. Our Creator is the One people have turned away from, for far too many years; so they could do their own thing. Look where it has taken the world.
The Beast is typically bad, no matter when, or where. Trying to keep vigilant and in His word as commanded. Being ready seems to be called for rather repeatedly.
My knee jerk (again LOL) to your preamble was, is this The Beast?... trying to recall are there any numerical or similarly prophetic symmetry to The Beast documented and a beast revealing itself more clearly these last couple few years (decades depending on viewpoints) - THEN - I am reminded not to consider calling this or that The Beast. Do not be distracted by myths or rumors, but stay to studies of the word and in prayer.
Then thru time in his word I will know when I see The Beast and I will run as commanded. Just my 2 cents.
