New Zealand is about to see a massive surge of BA4 and BA5 infection. 4 nurses in one Auckland hospital ward alone infected with BA5 last week! Curve won’t hit baseline here either and we have high percentage double vaxxed but only 53% have taken a boost assume most realize now the vaccine is useless.

You must be careful with this “daily NEW confirmed cases”. I think not was Igor Chudov who covered this on his Substack, people who get back to back COVID don’t count as new cases. I forget the number of days that needs to pass for them to be a new case, but there are people getting COVID 2 or 3 times who only count as one new case. Check out his Substack for details...it was a few months ago he talked about this.

Binding antibodies that are non-neutralizing antibodies are usually directed against a site other than the receptor binding site. Seems they’re unable to neutralize the virus and they promote the survival of variants. The ratio of neutralizing to non-neutralizing (binding antibodies) antibodies is more important here and from my understanding is higher in those with natural immunity than those with two doses of the mandates thing. I can’t find the reference now but ‘twas from research done in Singapore as I recall.
