Paul, you speak the truth and you listed the many lies. However, it saddens me to no end to acknolwedge that all of us came far to slowly to the realization that this is far too extensive, comprehensive, and deep to have been a small snowball growing as it rolled down a hillside. THIS was a diabolical plan put into motion by fiends. We stood by and let it happen for too long. The damage has been done under OUR watch. Ordinary Canadians felt there was something terribly wrong. We knew it but did not do enough. Especially for the elderly who suffered great harms through out, from start to now; especially for the very young who have been boxed and tortured even by their own parents, not just the previously trusted teachers many of whom are lovely people otherwise. We turned our hospitals into hollow versions of themselves. We let that happen. Now we are fighting to regain what we lost and that will take tremendous fortitude and solidarity across the board. IT IS NOW OR NEVER, frankly. Reject the schools. Reject the hospitals. Reject the unions. Reject the compliant amongst the churches. We are under full frontal attack and there is no alternative but to regroup on new ground and claim it as our own. The authorities are discredit and untrustworthy. Local to national. Time to turn away from all of that because there will be no fair trials, no fair investigations, no fair inquiries even. It took generations for the JAPANESE INTERNMENT balderdash to be partially reconciled; likewise the residential schools; and moresoe the various abuses against the mentally and physically handicapped. The many abuses through sterilizations and abortions. The depth of depravity seems boundless. And recovery is ever only partial if not merely tokenism. The main thing is to stop the harm before it escalates. The best we can do is to reject and to interupt the momentum of the steamrolling machine that is set against us. The best we can expect for an outcome is to reduce the severity of the harm and suffering that is coming our way. It will take generations to right the ship, if we can manage it.
