If pregnancy gets measured continuously from conception, rates of spontaneous abortion are in the ballpark of 50%. This has made the pregnancy research extremely difficult to do well. With literature ranging from numbers like 9% to around 50%, few meangingful comparisons are possible between data sets using different methods and testing. It may even be that most pregnancies are never recognized by the mother.
Some of the subjects that experienced a miscarriage or abortion aren't listed in the Listing of Subjects Reporting Pregnancy After Dose 1 (50). So it seems like 22/50 isn't exactly right?
