According to a doctor interviewed on Dr. John Campbell's Youtube channel (youtu.be/KgldG9r-i9M), there were at least 3 types of batches: devastatingly bad, very bad, and not too bad. It's possible that the not too bad ones were little more than saline, since I believe the unsafely of the batch types is not known, but any effectiveness of the batch types is unknown.
