God has called me multiple times not to hate Fauci but to hate his actions. I pray for him in the midst of his life to find Jesus. He could be a force for good but has chosen instead to be a force for evil. I pray that what happens to him would glorify God and that God would work it for our good and his. I pray he would turn from evil and choose light. I believe in a miraculous God in Jesus who brings life and light where there is none.
I’m not a better person apart from Jesus. That’s why I need him. His word say “your (Gods) kindness leads me to repentance”. I do think we can ask for justice too though. It’s the mature boundary idea: Fauci killed millions. Yes, he should be held accountable. I do not see a conflict between those ideas. The problem is none of us deserve Gods mercy (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3), but he (Jesus) deliberately chose to die FOR us taking OUR punishment (again Romans 3, the whole chapter). None of us like to think we are bad too but we are. I am selfish, I caused a woman to die. Yes, ultimately she chose suicide. But I didn’t do a thing to befriend her. She asked me to. She asked me to. We’ve all sinned and fallen short of what God wants for us, His perfection. But He gave us Jesus to pay for it. Substituting Jesus as the death for our justice and justification.
We are human, we are not, and will never be perfect. There's only God who is perfect. I like to think we all do the best we can, but I know we make mistakes. Asking for, but not deserving, God's grace.
However, the "mistakes" of such evil people are planned, decided with full knowledge that their actions are evil, and they will pay.
