Risch is someone who acted as a leader to me, a dear friend, he is superb as a human being, unlike most I have met, brilliant, principled, blunt, not a grifter, only wants to inform, help humanity
He was the senior author and the inspiration for our covid paper, which was unfortunately published after he passed away (the published version was a minor revision of the last version that he was able to read while he was still alive). Inspiration, because he always said that high risk patients had a 5% to 10% mortality rate and he was seeing more than 10 times less with his patients. So he got me interested in turning the intuititve observation into a precise argument and learned a lot in the process. God bless, Dr. Zelenko, and all of the proactive doctors like yourself who shared their knowledge and enlightened us... Just look at all the lives that you saved by promoting early treatment and this protocol.... sadly to this day, they are denying people a simple Z pack or even a script for Doxy. I just went through this with my husband who was at the doctor the other day and they refused an antibiotic & they said only an antiviral would work( which by the way is only EUA and not approved by the FDA .You and I know is not what is needed when a person has fever, terrible sore throat, congestion in the lungs w/discolored sputum.
We both had Covid right in the beginning in March 2020 and got early treatment with z-pak coupled with prednisone po... Doctors office actually stated the other day there is no such protocol ..and that it is not approved. This APRN seriously thought that she was talking to an idiot and an ill-informed person and she tried using her art of intimidation and belittling which only tells me she operates from ego and does not pay attention to what the patient’s symptoms are. However, he has strep, as well as Covid which can happen & still no antibiotic given. My point is that thank God I have the Wellness kit that we ordered a couple of months ago. Here in CT and not far from Yale and still denied an antibiotic. Please everybody be prepared because in this day and age & it is four years later and still the ignorance or shall I say” deliberate ignorance”is still the order of the day...ignorance is alive and well in the state of Connecticut and many other states. Needless to say, I started the azithromycin and after 72 hours it’s breaking up the infectio in his lungs & fever has gone down a bit & throat pain dissipating.. Normally do not think this way, but I think people are judged on their DOB by some limited thinking doctors and I think they written off. Oh well they’re older what do they know. Much more than you, honey... I guess you missed that class when you were becoming an APRN ...better get back to school... Bottom line never let anyone intimidate you into an action. Also, what was held against him is that he did not have the Covid shot ...another words it’s your fault if you get sick....really, we had Covid in the beginning of 2020 & have natural immunity and damn straight we didn’t get the shot...so they’re all indoctrinated as far as I’m concerned ....they’re in that camp and we’re in the different camp, that think for ourselves.
He performed a great service to humanity. I'm sure he was welcomed to Heaven with great song and praise. So appreciative of him and ALL the others doing Good Works now. 🙏🙏🙏
